Thank you for not writing a romance with all the torid crap most authors write! Also, thank you for writing a romance that the woman does not go on and on and on and on and on (in her mind and for pages) about why she cannot be with the man. To many get caught up in that and it makes for a long boring book. But this book was very well written in those areas. One thing I did wish for was more of an ending. What happened to Henry? What happened with the boss? I get leaving it to the imagination but some times you want a little more to the ending to make it that perfect read. And I wanted that little bit more.

Adding Christmas A Sweet Christmas Romance eBook Rebecca Talley Reviews

An engaging Christmas novella. It has interesting and likable characters. I enjoyed the sparky and fun conversations. This was a very fun and easy read, gave me a warm and welcome to Christmas feeling. I received this book as a gift however I would recommend buying it for a few hours enjoyable reading. I voluntarily give this review
I love a good Christmas novela during the holidays. This was a wonderful story! The main characters were as well developed as possible in a novela and they extremely likeable. The story captured me from the beginning and held my attention. It left me with that wonderful "Oh, I love Christmas" feeling. Definitely glad I found this novela!
Loved the protagonists in the story. It was touching to watch Chloe's understanding of Christmas evolve past her personal pain. Also enjoyed Henry & LeAnne as secondary characters. Wasn't quite sure what to make of her neighbor Jimmy. The story felt a little unfinished at the end, but it was at least happy.
This is a sweet little book with a message that 'tis better to give than to receive. I would have liked to see Chloe's childhood pain acknowledged as acceptable. She isn't selfish for being sad about the grief that happened around Christmas. The inspiration porn of the poor kids she meets at the end of the book is really gross. I realize that these types of books don't delve into reality or deep feelings too much, but I would've liked to see more thoughtfulness.

The casual fatphobia in this book is also displeasing. Early on, Talley makes a crack that Mitch's colleague's joy of eating was evidenced by his waistline. That statement shows a fundamental lack of understanding how food and bodies work. As fat justice activist Marilyn Wanna says, the only thing you can tell about a person from their size is your own amount of prejudice. Talley certainly demonstrated her prejudice, and that ruined the book for me.
Amazing story of true love wins. There will always be ups and downs. Just keep doing the right thing. Mitch finally overcomes his boken heart.
This was an enjoyable read that brought out the true meaning of Christmas and the importance of family. I think you will enjoy this book.
Loved this novella! Very fun and interesting, also thoughtful and deep at times. Main characters were well developed and had fun interactions with other characters. Very sweet, lots of fun wording and descriptions, and I love how the author keeps the reader guessing at times. It was a very fun way to spend a few hours.
